<p><span>America&rsquo;s largest and most innovative Law Enforcement K-9 Training Seminar is being held in Seattle Washington at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. We&rsquo;re excited about how hugely popular HITS has become. We&rsquo;ve packed so much training diversity into HITS that it draws worldwide attendance, and it grows larger every year.</span></p>
<p><span>HITS is anticipating attendees from around the globe for 2012 and our training classes are packed with information designed to educate everyone in the entire chain of command, from important legal factors for administrators to vital tactical deployment operations for the troops holding the leash.</span></p>

<p class="p2">COLUMBIA, MD -- (September 20, 2011) Raptor Detection Technologies, LLC announced today that it has been contracted to supply its line of &ldquo;Substance Activated Fast Evaluation Technology&rdquo; (SAFE-T) products to the United States Army Armament, Research, Development, and Engineering Command. The contract vehicle is with SOSSEC, Inc., a consortium of homeland security and technology firms of which Raptor is a member. The award comes one month after Raptor was awarded a significant contract by the US Navy&rsquo;s Explosive Ordnance Division (NAVEOD).</p>

<p class="p3"><span class="s1">&ldquo;This new award confirms the Army&rsquo;s support of Raptor&rsquo;s SAFET products and the Company&rsquo;s ability to successfully bring SAFET products to full operational readiness with a goal of becoming a program of record,&rdquo; said Dr. Jonathan Gluckman, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Raptor.&nbsp; &ldquo;The detection capability we are developing jointly with the Army will enhance greatly the ability of our warfighters to meet the global terrorist threat.&rdquo; &nbsp;</span></p>

When task force members arrived at the scene the suspect ran into the woods where he took cover in a sniper's nest at the top of a steep hill. Deputy Pagerly and his K-9 Jynx pursued the suspect. K-9 Jynx alerted Pagerly to the suspect. &nbsp;The suspect opened fire with a rifle, striking Deputy Pagerly. Other officers returned fire and killed the subject. &nbsp;After Deputy Pagerly was struck, K9 Jynx, tried to pull Kyle to safety by dragging him out of the line of fire. Deputy Pagerly was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.&nbsp;</span></p>
<p><strong>The Salisbury Township Police K9 Unit will be sponsoring and organizing a Police K-9 Trials with proceeds from this event donated to The Kyle Pagerly Memorial Fund.</strong></p>
